About me

Iam a full stack web developer. My professional ambition is to stay versatile and be able to fill different roles within a product group. As such I have been learning technologes across the entire development stack from front end UI work to database design. I have developed several web applications to showcase my abilities; 3 of them are linked below. I am also very active as part of the open source community and am a member of many projects on GitHub.

The technologies I haven't done much with but am very interested in learning and working with others on projects for fun or employment are Python, C++, C#, PHP, Java, .NET, and Rails. So if you are working on any of these projects and want help and are willing to pair program I am ready ANYTIME!!! Here are a list of projects I am always interested in working with ANYONE on! Projects incorporating sensors and hardware, VR/AR integration into websites, penetration testing and web/software security.

Coding is rewarding and challenging. When not coding I will probably be found floating above your head. Besides exploring new ways to incorporate Arduino sensors and automation into my environment I love to fly my paraglider, when the weather permits of course... I welcome any questions regarding working together or flying together!

This is a full-stack responsive recipe searching app. It was designed mobile first but still as a fully functional SPA. It was the collaborative effort of four developers where we used NodeJS, SASS, and javascript for the front-end and express, auth0, massive, and postgreSQL for the backend. The app is able to search recipes by ingredients, keep track of what you have in your household and prioritize recipes with those ingredients. You can also save favorites and eliminate recipes from the search results by diet or allergies. You can also filter results by fat, protein, calories, and more...

Initially this was going to be my portfolio website with my projects but I didn't have the skills to do what I wanted so I revamped it into what you see here. I am a fan of clean, responsive designs. I am drawn to parallax and feelings of depth. This is a full-stack application that uses React, Javascript, Auth0, PostgreSQL, and key-frames.
